Set up a normal game of kickball. Then get various exercising weights, the kind that strap on. Need some for both the wrist and the ankles. You can also use other bulky items if you like…huge beach ball, bulky backpack, heavy backpack etc. The Game is based off the idea in Hebrews 12:1 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”

Some rules you can use:
1) For every base you make it to you can take off something that is hindering you.

2) You can start out with a bunch of hindrances, and each inning take something away.

3) Everyone should get a chance to kick and run, before outs count. I just play everyone gets a kick, and then we change.

4) That’s the bases of the game. Afterwards we talked about how hard it was to kick the ball and run when weighted down. The last inning of the game we played a normal kickball game. NO hindrances.
