For all of those people in your group that do not feel that they are loved or appreciated, have them try this activity. Give each person within your group (small or large) a piece of paper and a pen/pencil. Tell them that they have just received a letter from Christ Himself! And what’s even more special is that this letter is a love letter especially assigned to them. Have each student write a letter to themselves, pretending it’s from Christ. Have them think long and hard about what Christ might say to them. This could be words of adoration and love, words of encouragement, or words of accountability. This makes them think about how important their relationship with Christ is.
