Telephone Basketball Plus

We played the game that we saw on EGADIdeas.com about tearing the pages out of old phone books, wadding them up and trying to throw them into a wastebasket. Since our message was on “sharing Christ with others”, after we played the game, we told the parable of the sower found in Matthew 13. Then we related the game we had just played to sowing the Word of God (or witnessing.) Just as not all, not even most of the paper wads went into the basket, when we share Christ with others, not all of the people will receive it. But some will. So when we witness, don’t be discouraged when God’s word is rejected. Just keep sowing the Word, and some will fall on good soil.
