Shape Huddles

This is similar to Clumps except with an additional twist. Prior to playing the game, create shapes on the floor using masking tape. Make some squares, triangles, octagons and hexagons. Or you can draw your shapes with chalk. It’s a bit easier to include a circle this way. Shapes should be a variety of sizes, with some large enough for three people and others large enough for ten or more. Start some music playing. Everyone must move around the room. The leader will then stop the music, and call out a number and a shape. For example, “seven, square”. Players now need to form groups of seven, all standing within the boundaries of the squares. Anyone not in a group is knocked out of the game. Continue playing, calling smaller numbers as you run out of players, until only one person remains.
