Floor Pong

You need a room at least 20 by 40. Clear the room and mark the floor with masking tape replicate a ping pong table. Each side should be 20×20 and the entire floor is divided long ways in half. This will be four squares 10×10 feet. You will need 4 ping pong paddles and a lightweight 6 inch children’s ball. You also need to create a net by stretching a string across the 20 foot direction. We tie it about 12 inches off the floor between two chairs. It plays like doubles tennis and is scored, first to what ever you decide. Teams can only score on their serve. Our students are quite active and they really love it. If your students are extreme, you might have some extra paddles on hand. We will also play the walls and ceiling as in, this makes it even faster.
