Theme Park Fun – Variation

We did a variation on the “Theme Park” activity that had kids – and leaders – rolling on the floor laughing, and talking about it for weeks afterward. We limited the number of “volunteers” to three, and selected kids we knew could take a joke but would also benefit from being humbled a bit. We gave a different charade to each actor. In addition to enacting a roller coaster ride, the other two “charades” were a student taking an incredibly difficult final exam and being a NASCAR driver in the pole position at Indy. The sound effects were unbelievable, and the younger kids in the audience loved being in on the joke!
